The City Crown Motel, only a stroll to the Gay Golden Mile of Oxford Street, has been run by the charming brother sister team - Tony and Chris for 4 years. During that time the City Crown has become a favourite of the Gay and Lesbian Traveller returning to experience the night life of the Darlinghurst area. One of Oxford Street's favourite Bars, the Columbian is only a 3 minute walk away.
At any time the gay and lesbian clientele accounts for about 50% of guests and over peak Gay Times such as the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras the hotel is almost 100% Gay.
Darlinghurst and Surry Hills are inner city suburbs of Sydney that are renown for Cafes, Restaurants, Bars and boutique fashion outlets. Beyond the obvious attractions of Oxford Street, the City Crown Motel is a short walk (about 15 minutes ) to the city centre and then on to its many places of interest including Sydney Harbour, the Sydney Opera House, the Rocks, Darling Harbour. The Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney Football Stadium and the Entertainment Quarter Moore Park are also all easily accessible. Not only will guests of City Crown Motel be able to walk to the city centre and a huge variety of eateries, entertainment venues and shopping opportunities.

Room Rates and Booking Conditions
- CANCELLATION POLICY:
- A deposit equal to 10% of the full stay will be charged at the time of making the booking.
- This amount is non-refundable if the stay is shortened or cancelled for any reason.
- The remaining 90% of the accommodation costs will be paid directly to the hotel during your stay
- Cancellations within 48 hours of booked arrival date or failure to arrive on the booked arrival date will incur an additional fee equal to the cost of the first nights accommodation.
- No monies will be refunded if stays are shortened, cancelled or if guests fail to arrive.
- By proceeding with the booking it is understood the the above conditions have been accepted.
